MEET THE AUTHOR
Hi! I’m Lori Nelson Lee, publisher and author of children’s books that celebrate diversity. My goal has always been to introduce great stories and fun characters that entertain, educate, and empower all children. My first published book, The Adventures of Hillary: Hillary’s Big Business Adventure, gained lots of attention as a book with a powerful female lead that introduces the concept of entrepreneurship to young kids. The book was added to several elementary classrooms in New York,
New Jersey, Maryland, and Ohio among others. It was also featured on several talk shows and news programs on major television networks. My gift for storytelling led me to win a spot as a finalist in the Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship Lab competition. Since then, I have published several additional books, mentored aspiring authors, and ghostwritten stories for busy clients.
